Martha has been in Human Resources for over 30 years. Her role as HR Director starts with the posting of all job openings for the city and continues through the interviewing and hiring process. She also completes all new hire paperwork, criminal background checks, drug screens, FMLA, ACA, Workman’s Compensation, etc.
She works with management on the interviewing process and any other employee issues that come up.
She updates the employee handbook as needed and works with department heads to keep their job descriptions and essential functions updated.
